The Raspberry Pi 400 kit is a complete personal computer built into a compact keyboard, with everything you need in the box (minus a monitor or TV)! It’s ideal for learning to code using the Raspberry Pi OS desktop environment and can also be used for a wide range of other activities such as surfing the web, creating and editing documents, watching videos and more!

The Pi400 shares the same great performance as the Raspberry Pi 4 but with the 64-bit CPU clocked to a whopping 1.8GHz thanks to the large internal heatsink. This sits alongside 4GB RAM, dual-band wireless networking, dual-display output and 4K video playback.

The familiar 40-pin GPIO pins are located at the rear of the keyboard for wiring up electronics projects, alongside two USB 3.0 ports and a USB 2.0 port. There's even an on/off power option via the F10 key (for full power disconnection, grab a USB-C on/off switch cable).

The Raspberry Pi Camera Module 3 is the latest entry in the Official Raspberry Pi range of camera modules, offering a new 12 Megapixel Sony IMX708 image sensor, powered autofocus, improved low-light sensitivity and HDR (High Dynamic Range) support for your Raspberry Pi projects!

The module is capable of 4608x2592 pixel images and 4608x2592 @14 FPS/2304x1296 @56 FPS/1536x864 @120FPS video. When HDR is enabled, the resolution is limited to 2304x1296 @ 30 FPS.

Accessories

The Camera Module 3 is mechanically identical to the previous Camera Module V2 apart from the front sensor section. The new sensor is larger and may not fit all previous camera accessories. We have updated all of our camera accessories with compatibility information in the descriptions.

Software

The Camera Module 3 can only be used with libcamera - the previous raspistill/raspivid libraries will not work

You will need to update Raspberry Pi OS as the Camera Module 3 requires a new driver and a specific version of libcamera

The Raspberry Pi Sense HAT V2 is the perfect product to learn about programming and how we interact with the world around us. With its full array of sensors, the Sense HAT was originally developed for use on the International Space Station, as part of the educational Astro Pi programme run by the Raspberry Pi Foundation in partnership with the European Space Agency.

It is well suited to many projects that require position, motion, orientation, or environmental sensing. The Sense HAT is powered by the Raspberry Pi computer to which it is connected.

An officially supported Python library provides access to all of the on-board sensors, the LED matrix, and the joystick. The Sense HAT is compatible with any Raspberry Pi computer with a 40-pin GPIO header.

Features
The Raspberry Pi Sense HAT V2 is attached on top of the Raspberry Pi via the 40-pin GPIO pins (which provide the data and power interface) to create an ‘Astro Pi’. The incredible new High Quality (HQ) Camera module from Raspberry Pi offers a higher resolution (12 megapixels, compared to 8 megapixels), and sensitivity than the previous Camera Module v2. It features a Sony IMX477 sensor, a 200mm FPC cable for connection to your Raspberry Pi, a milled aluminium lens mount with integrated 1/4” -20 tripod mount and focus adjustment ring, and a C- to CS-mount adapter. A lens cover is also included with the module and comes pre-fitted. There’s even a small screwdriver in the box for making adjustments. It’s designed to work with interchangeable lenses in both C- and CS-mount form factors giving you ultimate flexibility with your Raspberry Pi camera projects. A C-CS mount adapter comes pre-fitted to the module.

Familiar coding
The High Quality (HQ) Camera uses the same commands as the standard Raspberry Pi Camera Module, such as libcamera (or raspistill/raspivid if you're using Buster or an even older OS image). Libcamera and similar commands will query the camera firmware for the resolution of the sensors (as they already do today) and will default to 12 megapixels for the High Quality Camera. The drivers for the High Quality (HQ) Camera are built-in to Raspberry Pi OS too, so upgrading your camera project with the High Quality Camera is a simple task.
