It will help reduce absorbency and enhance paint integrity. When working with oil paint, at least two coats are recommended. It is advised to thin it with water and dilute the paint you will use with water up to 50%. When applying Gesso to the surface, it reduces absorbency, resulting in more vibrant colors and longer paint life.
