These wheels are specifically designed for use with FS90R micro continuous rotation servo and also fit the Mini 360 degree continuous rotation servo. The wheel presses onto the servo spline just like a typical servo horn, and the small screw included with the FS90R accessory pack for mounting servo horns should be used to hold the wheel in place.

The wheels have silicone press fit tyres and measure 60mm in diameter.

This FS90R Mini 360 Servo by Feetech is a great value multi-purpose micro size servo and it's ideal for use with micro-controller systems like the BBC microbit, Arduino, Raspberry Pi and PICAXE. It's miniature size also makes it great for use in radio controlled models and small robot projects.

This is a 360 degree continuous rotation servo. Its operation is very different to that of a standard servo. Instead of going to a specified angle, this servo will be static at a 1.5ms pulse (a trimmer is included to tweak this), a longer pulse gives forward rotation and a shorter pulse give backwards rotation.

The FS90R continuous rotation servo converts standard RC servo position pulses into continuous rotation speed. The default rest point is 1.5 ms, but this can be adjusted by using a small screwdriver to turn the middle-point adjustment potentiometer. Pulse widths above the rest point result in counterclockwise rotation, with speed increasing as the pulse width increases; pulse widths below the rest point result in clockwise rotation, with speed increasing as the pulse width decreases.

It comes with mounting screws and a range of horns to suit most applications. You can use any servo code, hardware or library to control these servos, so it's great for beginners who want to make things move without the need for a motor driver board. These servos are fully compatible with our Servo:Lite board which is also included in the :MOVE mini buggy kit for the BBC microbit.

360 Digital Servo(EF90D) with wheel and tire is a kind of 360° analog servo. It is light and portable, a little bigger than 5 cent coin. It works at 3V voltage and uses pulse width to adjust speed of the servo rotation, which also can be used to make small robot modules, mechanical arm modules and intelligent car modules.

Wheel

Kitronik's Linear Actuator converts the circular movement of a 180° servo (supplied) into motion in a straight line, one way and then the other. It can be mounted to a project to provide either horizontal or vertical movement.

Linear Actuators are useful for a whole host of different applications, like; robots, automated button switching, steering racks for buggies, a point switcher on a model railway, animating a diorama display, etc. Linear actuators are also used extensively in industry and in consumer products, such as; valves, cams, floppy disk drives and optical disk drives, just to name a few.

The Linear Actuator has been cut from a 5mm clear blue Perspex Sheet, the same material as used in our servo powered Klaw gripper. There are a range of mounting holes at either end of the rack including a 3mm hole, a 3mm square, and standard servo horn holes suitable for wire (1mm dia) and it has approximately 20mm of travel. It has a gear ratio of 2:3 and the stall torque of the provided servo is 1.5kg/cm at 6V and 1.3kg at 4.8V.

This 90RPM in-line geared TT hobby motor is a great cost-effective solution for adding some movement to your buggy/robot builds. It can be used with our matching wheels and with our motor driver boards, such as our Motor Driver Board for Raspberry Pi Pico and the Compact Motor Driver Board for the BBC micro:bit, to name just two. Note: when using a microcontroller, do not drive these motors directly with the microcontroller, always use them in conjunction with a motor driver board.

Despite their low price point, these brightly coloured 120:1 motors are quite durable and are likely to last through multiple builds with ease.

Although there is a gearbox between the motor and the shaft, there are no rotary encoders. When connected to an appropriate motor driver, like the two listed above, you get forwards/backwards/stop. Simple yet effective. With 2 motors connected to a motor driver, you can also have directional control by turning off one motor and not the other. As is sometimes the case with servos and motors, there can be some small RPM differences between motors which can be overcome when coding, a little trial end error and the odd pause is usually all it takes.
