The LEGO® Education Computer Science & AI Kit 8+ makes computer science and AI learning practical, creative and accessible for younger learners. Created for Years 3–5 / ages 8+, it gives pupils the chance to build, test and code their own models while exploring key computing concepts in a hands-on way.
With 321 LEGO® elements, a double motor and a colour sensor, children can investigate movement, sensing and cause-and-effect through collaborative classroom activities. The coding experience uses icon- and word-based block coding, helping learners move from simple logic into deeper computational thinking with confidence.
The kit also includes access to 30 standards-aligned lessons through the LEGO® Education Teacher Portal, along with building instructions and teaching support. Projects are saved locally, and lessons are accessed via PIN, so there are no student logins or passwords to manage.
This classroom-ready solution is ideal for introducing coding, control, sensing and early AI concepts in a way that feels playful, meaningful and achievable for every learner. It is designed for up to 4 students per kit, making it well suited to collaborative learning and small group challenges.
