MonkMakes Prototype PCB for Pi Pico

    Manufacturer: Monk Makes
A prototyping board designed for the Raspberry Pi Pico with the Pico pinout marked on the PCB. If you liked the Breadboard for Pico and are ready to take your prototype to solder, you will love this board! This prototyping board is inspired by the MonkMakes Breadboard for Pico and has all the Pico's pin names on the PCB making it easy to make your project more permanent and robust.

You can solder the Pico to the prototyping board using the castellations around the edge of the board, or using header pins, or even solder header sockets onto the Pico Proto PCB so that you can easily swap out the Pico. There are also solder bridges to connect power busses.

The layout of the Pico Proto PCB is modelled on a 400-point breadboard, and after the Pico is soldered to the PCB, there are 10 more rows that can be used for your own through-hole components. Once complete, fit the project into your enclosure using the M2.5 mounting holes.

Picture of Pin Header for Raspberry Pi Pico Board 2 Pack

Pin Header for Raspberry Pi Pico Board 2 Pack

    KI 4175
This pin header pack is specifically for use with the Raspberry Pi Pico microcontroller. It is supplied as two strips of 20 pins each that are the right length and ready to be soldered directly to the board. Just take them out of the bag and fit them.

These are the same headers that are soldered onto the Pico with pin headers assembled, which is also available via the Kitronik Discovery Kit for Raspberry Pi Pico (Pico Included).

These pin headers make connecting I/O devices or use with a prototyping breadboard simple and convenient. They also allow for use with our accessory boards, such as; the Compact Robotics Board and the Compact Motor Driver Board.

This pin header features an industry-standard header terminal connector for mating with industry-standard sockets on a 2.54mm pitch. It's reliable, rugged, low cost, and this connector is a must for any standard board-to-board mating for example Pico/Arduino.

    Features:
  • Pin header pack for use with the Raspberry Pi Pico.
  • Compatible with our range of accessory boards for Raspberry Pi Pico.
  • 2.54mm pitch single row through-hole PCB footprint.
  • Supplied as two strips of 20 pins each.
  • Industry-standard header/ terminal specification.
  • Standard 2.50mm insulator profile.
  • Standard 6.10mm contact post, 3mm solder tail.
  • Contact Material: Brass. Contact Plating: Gold Flash Plated.
  • Rated Current: 3A.
  • Insulation Resistance: 5000 MΩ Max.

Picture of Kitronik Pin Breakout for the Raspberry Pi Pico

Kitronik Pin Breakout for the Raspberry Pi Pico

    KI 5341
The Kitronik Pin Breakout for the Raspberry Pi Pico has been designed to offer an easy way of connecting additional circuitry and devices to the Pico. It also allows for moving the Pico between projects without the need to remove all of the jumper cables.

The Pico plugs into the two inner rows of sockets. The remaining two outer rows can then be used for connecting to external devices/circuits. The board has clear markings for each pin and the correct orientation for inserting the Pico is also clearly marked.

In order to use this board, the Pico should have soldered pin headers, it can then be firmly inserted into the board. Additionally, the board features 4 x M3 mounting holes to allow for fixing the board to projects/prototyping setups. Care was taken when designing the Pico Pin Breakout to maintain as small a footprint as possible.

    Features:
  • It offers a convenient interface for controlling additional circuitry with the Raspberry Pi Pico.
  • The board features 2 x rows of sockets that a Pico with soldered pin headers can slot straight into.
  • The outer rows of sockets can be used to connect any of the Pico i/o pins to a project/prototype.
  • Use jumper wires, soldering is not required.
  • Raspberry Pi Pico prototyping made easy.

  • Dimensions:
  • Length: 65mm.
  • Width: 37mm.
  • Height: 11.2mm.
