    Raspberry Pi Zero 2 W

    RP SC1146
The Raspberry Pi Zero 2 W is the latest board in the Raspberry Pi Zero family, with a quad-core processor offering a 40% increase in single-threaded performance and 5x times more multi-threaded performance than the previous single-core Raspberry Pi Zero W! The successor to the breakthrough Zero W, Raspberry Pi Zero 2 W is a drop-in replacement for the original board, with the same form factor, connectors and mounting holes. Perfect for a project upgrade!

The Raspberry Pi Zero 2 W incorporates a quad-core 64-bit Arm Cortex-A53 CPU clocked at 1GHz. At its heart is a Raspberry Pi RP3A0 system-in-package (SiP), integrating a Broadcom BCM2710A1 die with 512MB of LPDDR2 SDRAM. This upgraded package provides the Raspberry Pi Zero 2 W with its generous increase in performance. Raspberry Pi Zero 2 W continues to offer 2.4GHz 802.11 b/g/n wireless LAN and Bluetooth (now 4.2), along with support for Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) and modular compliance certification.

The new Raspberry Pi Zero 2 has a MicroSD card slot for the Raspberry Pi Operating System, a CSI-2 camera connector, a USB On-The-Go (OTG) port and an unpopulated footprint for a HAT-compatible 40-pin GPIO header. Video output is via a mini HDMI port; composite video output is available via the board's test points if needed. The Zero 2 is powered via a micro-USB socket and requires a 5V 2.5A power supply just like previous generations.

Picture of Raspberry Pi Sense Hat V2

    Raspberry Pi Sense Hat V2

    RP SC0329
The Raspberry Pi Sense HAT V2 is the perfect product to learn about programming and how we interact with the world around us. With its full array of sensors, the Sense HAT was originally developed for use on the International Space Station, as part of the educational Astro Pi programme run by the Raspberry Pi Foundation in partnership with the European Space Agency.

It is well suited to many projects that require position, motion, orientation, or environmental sensing. The Sense HAT is powered by the Raspberry Pi computer to which it is connected.

An officially supported Python library provides access to all of the on-board sensors, the LED matrix, and the joystick. The Sense HAT is compatible with any Raspberry Pi computer with a 40-pin GPIO header.

    Features
The Raspberry Pi Sense HAT V2 is attached on top of the Raspberry Pi via the 40-pin GPIO pins (which provide the data and power interface) to create an ‘Astro Pi’. The Sense HAT has several integrated circuit based sensors can be used for many different types of experiments, applications, and even games.

The sensors enable you to read:
  • Gyroscope
  • Accelerometer
  • Magnetometer
  • Temperature
  • Barometric pressure
  • Humidity
  • Colour and brightness

  • The LED Matrix enables you to display the data from the various sensors, it can show you which way is geomagnetic North by programming a compass using the magnetometer or simply be used to play games like Tetris, Pong and Snake with the joystick. The joystick can also be used to enable a human user to interact with the programs running on the Raspberry Pi Sense HAT.

Raspberry Pi High Quality Camera Module

    RP SC0818
The new official Raspberry Pi High Quality Camera module (HQ Camera) for the Raspberry Pi is here - take your Raspberry Pi camera projects up a gear with the 12-megapixel Sony sensor, integrated aluminium tripod mount and interchangeable lens compatibility!

To use this camera with a Raspberry Pi 5, you will need to buy this adapter cable!
To use this camera with a Raspberry Pi Zero, you will need to buy this adapter cable!

This camera module will not function without a lens (purchased separately, options below).
High Quality 6mm Wide Camera Lens from Raspberry Pi
High Quality 16mm 10MP Telephoto Camera Lens from Raspberry Pi

The incredible new High Quality (HQ) Camera module from Raspberry Pi offers a higher resolution (12 megapixels, compared to 8 megapixels), and sensitivity than the previous Camera Module v2. It features a Sony IMX477 sensor, a 200mm FPC cable for connection to your Raspberry Pi, a milled aluminium lens mount with integrated 1/4” -20 tripod mount and focus adjustment ring, and a C- to CS-mount adapter. It’s designed to work with interchangeable lenses in both C- and CS-mount form factors giving you ultimate flexibility with your Raspberry Pi camera projects. A C-CS mount adapter comes pre-fitted to the module.

    Familiar coding
The High Quality (HQ) Camera uses the same commands as the standard Raspberry Pi Camera Module, such as libcamera (or raspistill/raspivid if you're using Buster or an even older OS image). Libcamera and similar commands will query the camera firmware for the resolution of the sensors (as they already do today) and will default to 12 megapixels for the High Quality Camera. The drivers for the High Quality (HQ) Camera are built-in to Raspberry Pi OS too, so upgrading your camera project with the High Quality Camera is a simple task.

    Magnificent for Makers
A huge range of popular projects from time-lapse photography to Raspberry Pi CCTV-style systems can be made double-awesome with the new High Quality Camera module. Shoot in greater detail, with improved low-light performance and take advantage of the range of available lenses to get the perfect shot.
