The Raspberry Pi Zero W is one of the most compact and cost-effective members of the Raspberry Pi family, yet it’s loaded with essential features like WiFi, Bluetooth, mini-HDMI, a micro-USB port, and a camera connector, making it ideal for a wide range of projects.
This model includes pads for the familiar 40-pin GPIO header found on larger Raspberry Pis. If you need the GPIO header, you can easily solder a 40-pin header (available separately in our essentials kit). The GPIO header allows you to add HATs, pHATs, or connect other components using jumper wires.
Prefer a pre-soldered option? Check out the Raspberry Pi Zero WH, which comes with a pre-soldered header.
The Zero W is powered by a 1GHz BCM2835 processor with 512MB RAM, offering solid performance for a variety of fun and practical projects, even if it doesn’t match the power of the Raspberry Pi 4.
We highly recommend pairing your Zero W with our Zero Essentials Kit, which includes the necessary USB and HDMI adapter cables, along with a variety of GPIO headers, to get the most out of your Raspberry Pi Zero.
Additionally, we offer a range of protective cases to keep your Raspberry Pi Zero safe and stylish.
