The Staedtler 502 lead pointer tub is a rotary sharpener for 2mm leads. Two automatic settings for sharp or blunt leads - set the lead depth in one of the two holes, insert the pencil into sharpener hole and rotate the whole lid using the pencil as a crank, whilst holding the canister. Sharpening automatically ceases when the lead is pointed. It also features a foam insert for cleaning dust from the lead tip.
