VEX GO is an affordable STEM construction system that taps into children's natural inquisitiveness. VEX GO utilises the VEX IQ plastic construction system and adapts it for primary students. GO kits contain all parts, motors and electronics needed to bring STEM to life!
Storage Done Right The GO Kit with Storage is pre-sorted into a convenient re-usable carrying case. This keeps all the parts organised and easily accessible.
Coding Done Right Block based coding is easy for young coders with VEXcode. Available for Tablets, Chromebooks, Macs and PCs.
STEM Lessons Our latest research-backed educational solution is called STEM Labs. These 40-minute lessons can be utilised in sequential order to create unique, extended learning experiences. STEM Labs promote collaboration and exploratory learning.
The VEX Pin Tool makes working with VEX GO and VEX IQ pins and plastic even easier. Use the Pin Tool just as you would a pair of pliers. Simply place the tool over the pin you want to remove, squeeze, and pull!
The Pin Tool has two other useful features on its handles. One side can be used to pry two beams apart, while the other can be used to push out pins (such as a 0x2 capped connector) that the tool would normally not be able to grab.
The Battery is essential for any VEX GO build that includes electronics. The Battery provides power to VEX GO electronic components and connects to the orange port on the Brain or Switch.
To charge the Battery, connect to a power source using the USB-C cable provided in the VEX GO Kit. The Battery is designed to last approximately one school day.
The GO Brain is essential for any VEX GO build that is run by a VEXcode GO project. The Brain runs user projects and controls the devices connected to the Brain.
Features:
Four number ports (1 - 4) for GO Motors, GO LED Bumpers and GO Electromagnets.
One Eye Sensor port that supports one Eye Sensor.
One Battery port that supports on GO Battery.
Bluetooth wireless connectivity to devices running VEXcode GO.
The GO Eye Sensor detects if there is an object present and the colour of the object. Colour detection is red or green or blue. It will also register the brightness of the ambient light.
The GO Eye Sensor connects to the blue-green port on the GO Brain.
Note: The Eye Sensor must be attached to the Brain before powering the Brain on in order to work properly. If the Eye Sensor is attached or removed after the Brain has already been powered on, the Brain must be power cycled in order for the Eye Sensor to function properly.
