STEM Lessons Our latest research-backed educational solution is called STEM Labs. These 40-minute lessons can be utilised in sequential order to create unique, extended learning experiences. STEM Labs promote collaboration and exploratory learning.

The VEX Pin Tool makes working with VEX GO and VEX IQ pins and plastic even easier. Use the Pin Tool just as you would a pair of pliers. Simply place the tool over the pin you want to remove, squeeze, and pull!

The Pin Tool has two other useful features on its handles. One side can be used to pry two beams apart, while the other can be used to push out pins (such as a 0x2 capped connector) that the tool would normally not be able to grab.

The Battery is essential for any VEX GO build that includes electronics. The Battery provides power to VEX GO electronic components and connects to the orange port on the Brain or Switch.

To charge the Battery, connect to a power source using the USB-C cable provided in the VEX GO Kit. The Battery is designed to last approximately one school day.

The GO Motor changes electrical energy into rotational movement that can be used in a GO build. The Motor can be powered in two ways:

It can be connected directly to the GO Battery through the GO Switch.

Or, the Motor can be connected to the GO Brain, and controlled by a VEXcode GO project.

The GO Smart Motor connects to any numbered port on the GO Brain.

The GO Brain is essential for any VEX GO build that is run by a VEXcode GO project. The Brain runs user projects and controls the devices connected to the Brain.

The GO Electromagnet is a specific type of magnet where the magnetic field is produced by an electric current. The Electromagnet can pick up and put down the Disks which contain metal cores.

The GO Electromagnet connects to any numbered port on the GO Brain.

The GO Switch can be connected to a GO battery and a GO motor or LED Bumper to control them manually.

The Switch can be set to forward, reverse, or off.

Positive : rotates the Motor in the forward direction or sets LED Bumper to green

Negative : rotates the Motor in the reverse direction or sets LED Bumper to red
