This kit contains all the Field & Game Elements required for the 2024 - 2025 VEX IQ Competition Game, Rapid Relay.

The VEX Pin Tool makes working with VEX GO and VEX IQ pins and plastic even easier. Use the Pin Tool just as you would a pair of pliers. Simply place the tool over the pin you want to remove, squeeze, and pull!

The Pin Tool has two other useful features on its handles. One side can be used to pry two beams apart, while the other can be used to push out pins (such as a 0x2 capped connector) that the tool would normally not be able to grab.

Pneumatics deliver fast and powerful linear motion that is useful in a variety of applications. The IQ Optical Sensor is a combination of ambient light, color, proximity and gesture sensor.
Color information is available as RGB, hue and saturation or grayscale.
Color detection works best when the object is closer than 100mm.
The proximity sensor measures reflected light intensity, and as such, the values will change with ambient light and object reflectivity.
The Optical Sensor has a white LED to assist color detection in low light conditions.
The gesture sensor can detect one of four possible gestures, an object (hand or otherwise) moving up, down, left or right over the sensor.
The IQ Optical Sensor works with both IQ Robot Brains (1st and 2nd generation).


Note: The IQ Optical Sensor replaces all the functionality of theVEX IQ Color Sensor (2283012)
