Great for quickly mounting objects. Wrap the Cinch Strap around the object you want mounted, loop it through the buckle, and then back onto itself for a secure hold using VELCRO® brand hook and loop fastener. The buckle allows the user to "cinch" the strap tight around the application.

Use Bearings and Shaft Collars to keep your mechanisms and wheels moving smoothly, and locked into place. Gears are one of the primary sources of power transmission in VEX EDR. We offer a variety of both normal and high strength gears, that come in a multitude of shapes and sizes. Start with a simple project like building a gear reduction, and work your way up towards building more complex mechanism such as a differential for a drivetrain. ThisGear Kitcontains additional gears so you will always have the right combination available to ensure you can achieve the desired balance of torque, speed, and direction. To expand your inventing possibilities, the 60- and 84-tooth gears have extra mounting holes. These mounting holes can be used for attaching metal bars or parts to these gears when using them as part of a turntable system, or other similar designs. This kit contains four sizes of VEX Spur Gears (12-, 36-, 60-, and 84-tooth gears). Use the High Strength Shaft Bearing to allow shafts to turn smoothly, the High Strength Shaft Spacer Kit to position objects on a shaft while reducing friction, and the High Strength Clamping Collar to hold everything in place. VEX EDR High Strength Shafts are actually designed about 1 mm shorter than their respective comprehensive solution 8-32 Standoffs. This means that if you use standoffs to hold together two pieces of metal, the High Strength Shaft can rest on High Strength Shaft Bearings attached to those two pieces without any cutting required.

The 36-tooth and 60-tooth Gears have powdered metal inserts. These metallic components will protect the gear from high loads applied by a VEX axle. High strength gears mate with all VEX spur gears. Double-thick face width provides added tooth strength. Metal Square Hole Inserts prevent axles from "stripping". Use metal pinions for high strength where it counts. Use the round-hole inserts to build free spinning idler gears. Build gearboxes that resist high shock-loads. Bolt Gears together for added strength.
