Mechanisms such as flywheels and arms do not need large external gear ratios if the output shaft speed of the driving motor is already close to the desired speed or torque. Therefore, changing internal gear ratios to fit specific needs allows more efficient and compact mechanisms to be designed.

This cartridge has a 18:1 ratio, giving a maximum output speed of speed of 200 rpm. It is the standard gear ratio supplied in a V5 Smart Motor and is ideal for drive train applications.

The VEXnet Backup Battery allows you to mount and connect (1) 9V battery. This battery keep VEXnet alive when the main battery fails. Works with the VEX Cortex Microcontroller. The VEXnet Joystick is the most intuitive way to wirelessly control a VEX EDR robot. Larger black Zip Ties are used to tie larger objects to metal or attach to rollers to assist an intake. 11 inches long with a rating of 30lbs.

Kit 2 is a complete pneumatics add-on for VEX EDR. The cylinders are Double Acting, meaning they use air pressure to extend and retract the piston.

Uses one VEX EDR Controller I/O port per air cylinder. Reservoir is filled using a standard tie pump
