    40-pin GPIO Booster Header for Raspberry Pi

    These headers will give your HAT or pHAT a real lift! We all love playing with the latest Pi accessories, but sometimes we've found that these wonderful add-on boards could do with just a little more clearance from the top of the Raspberry Pi.

    That's where these little headers come in! They're standard 2x20 GPIO headers so are suitable for all 40-pin versions of the Raspberry Pi, but they have 5mm pins to make sure they mate securely with the female headers on your add-on board.

    The Raspberry Pi Zero 2 W is powered by a quad-core 64-bit Arm Cortex-A53 CPU running at 1GHz, housed in the Raspberry Pi RP3A0 system-in-package (SiP). This SiP integrates a Broadcom BCM2710A1 die with 512MB of LPDDR2 SDRAM, significantly boosting the board's performance.

    Continuing the legacy of its predecessor, the Raspberry Pi Zero 2 W features 2.4GHz 802.11 b/g/n wireless LAN, Bluetooth 4.2, and support for Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE), along with modular compliance certification.

    Key features include a microSD card slot for the Raspberry Pi Operating System, a CSI-2 camera connector, a USB On-The-Go (OTG) port, and an unpopulated footprint for a HAT-compatible 40-pin GPIO header. Video output is provided via a mini HDMI port, with composite video output accessible through the board's test points if required.

    The Zero 2 W is powered through a micro-USB socket, requiring a 5V 2.5A power supply, similar to previous models.

    40-pin GPIO Ribbon Cable for Raspberry Pi

    This 175mm long GPIO (general purpose input/output) ribbon cable lets you extend the reach of your Raspberry Pi's pins, bridging them out to other boards or PCBs. The Raspberry Pi's GPIO can be used for all sorts: twiddling pins on or off, providing 3.3V or 5V power, communicating with I2C or SPI devices, and much more. This cable gives you a bit more flexibility in where you route those signals.

  • Note: Be careful to connect this cable to your board the correct way around. You can't use it with a male header to connect to a HAT's female header, as the pins will be mirrored. You'll risk damaging both your board and your Raspberry Pi if you connect the cable incorrectly so, if in doubt, check the order of the pins on the connector with a multimeter before connecting things up!

    The Raspberry Pi Active Cooler provides an alternative cooling solution for users who wish to use their Raspberry Pi 5 under sustained heavy load without a case.

    The Active Cooler combines a large metal heatsink with a high-quality variable-speed blower fan, powered and controlled via the fan connector on the Raspberry Pi 5, attached to the board via sprung pins into the dedicated pair of mounting holes.

    As the heat from the Pi 5 CPU spreads across the heatsink body and fins, the blower fan pushes cool air over them to keep your Raspberry Pi 5 running at optimal thermal levels. The cooler uses thermal pads to create a solid thermal connection with the Raspberry Pi 5.

    The fan is software-controlled, allowing it to remain off (and therefore silent) until temperatures reach the specified threshold.
