These ball bearings are compatible with VEX High Strength Shafts. Unlike traditional Bearing Flats, Ball Bearings achieve a lower rotational friction through the use of rolling balls that are built into the Bearing. Great for high speed mechanisms, such as shooters and intakes!

VEXpro VersaHubs provide frustration-free torque transfer between wheels, gears, sprockets, and shafts. Got a 1/2" Hex that you need to put a plate sprocket on? No problem. Need to mount a 64-tooth gear to your Mecanum Wheel? We can do that. Whatever your need, these hubs will help you integrate everything together seamlessly.

Most of the wheels and sprockets that teams typically use (including the previous generation of VEXpro wheels) don't take piloting into account. We wanted to make sure that everything pilots correctly... every time. Wheels, hubs, gears, sprockets… they all work together.

VersaHubs include the innovative VersaKey mounting system -- VersaKeys transfer torque between coaxial items, and also ensure everything is piloted correctly.

This Bumper Switch requires a lower spring force than the pre-existing Bumper Switch. Great for low force applications!

There's nothing more frustrating than a stripped screw. With VEX V5 Star Drive Screws, this becomes a thing of the past. These grade 8 screws were designed to withstand a great amount of torque, which allows builders to truly "lock down" their mechanisms.

Locking screws have been coated with a thread locker to help keep them locked into place. A locking screw can be installed 10-15 times and still retain a firm lock.

These tiles were specifically designed to prevent Electrostatic Buildup. In our testing, Anti-Static Tiles consistently showed little to no static buildup at all! These tiles are also reversible, essentially doubling their lifetime, and allowing for much quicker field assembly.

It should be noted that these Anti-Static tiles will NOT interlock with pre-existing Foam Tiles, but otherwise are practically identical. They are functionally equivalent, and any minor differences that do exist (color, thickness, Coefficient of Friction, etc.) are extremely negligible, and should not impact robot-field interaction.

The Super Kit is an all encompassing introduction to STEM and robotics. VEX IQ robots can be immediately driven using the hand held VEX Controller and built-in programs. VEX IQ sensors, including a colour sensor, gyroscope and potentiometer allow for advanced robots and teaching opportunities. Robots can be programmed via a computer and Modkit graphical programming software, Robot Mesh Python or ROBOTC.
The included Smart Motors and full range of sensors provide significant learning opportunities. All VEX IQ Starter Kits come with FREE programming software included. Modkit will be familiar to users of Scratch and it can now be installed as a standalone application or as an iPad app on as many machines as you like. For more advanced users, ROBOTC is a feature-rich environment with both graphical and text interfaces which means your robot designs are never constrained by the capabilities of the programming language.

The IQ Optical Sensor is a combination of ambient light, color, proximity and gesture sensor.
Color information is available as RGB, hue and saturation or grayscale.
Color detection works best when the object is closer than 100mm.
The proximity sensor measures reflected light intensity, and as such, the values will change with ambient light and object reflectivity.
The Optical Sensor has a white LED to assist color detection in low light conditions.
The gesture sensor can detect one of four possible gestures, an object (hand or otherwise) moving up, down, left or right over the sensor.
The IQ Optical Sensor works with both IQ Robot Brains (1st and 2nd generation).
